Methods: Google Scholar, PubMed, and Scopus databases were searched for articles published since 2010, with a focus on studies examining active learning methodologies in anatomical sciences education. Results: An analysis of research comparing the effectiveness of empowering teaching methods with traditional lecture-based approaches revealed that various interactive formats can greatly enhance focus and understanding of anatomical sciences, without relying on technology or incurring financial expenses. Conclusion: Anatomical education can easily transition from teacher-based lectures to contextually adaptable, multimodal strategies.
